The OC's Chapter 24

*In the airship training room*

Gamma: *Walks in and sees Strike watching some people getting ready for a practice fight* Strike what’s going on?

Strike: Two of the new guys. Krieg and Drake are going up against Natalia and Gaige.

Gamma: Really? This should be fun.

Strike: Yeah. My money’s on Gaige and Natalia.

Gamma: Who are you betting against?

Strike: Elemental. His money is on the new guys.

Gamma: Anyone else betting?

Strike: Yeah. Leon, Gray, Vincent, Alpha, Sol, Jackie, Serk, Selena, Desmond, and Aiden. Come on you’ll wanna see this.

Gamma: Sweet. *Sits down*

Allen: *Walks into the center of the room* Alright. Drake and Krieg vs Gaige and Natalia. You can injure each other but you can’t kill each other. Is that clear?

Natalia: Crystal.

Gaige: Got it~

Drake: Understood.

Krieg: Alright then.

Allen: Good. *Jumps back* Begin!

Natalia/Gaige: *Pull out their guns and start firing at Drake and Kreig*

Drake: *Pulls Krieg behind him as several dozen glowing translucent blades of varying design appear in front of him, blocking the bullets*

Krieg: *Holds his hand out and several dog like creatures rise out of the shadows and charge at Natalia and Gaige*

Gaige: Oh crap! *Summons Deathtrap and starts firing at the creatures*

Natalia: *Starts firing at the creatures and uses her heel gun to shoot at Drake again*

Drake: *Stands there as more blades block it* Krieg don’t you have anything bigger than those mutts?

Krieg: Uh….how much bigger do you want?

Drake: Try big enough to fit in here but not so big he breaks the airship.

Krieg: I got it. *Holds his hand up and a red circle appears in the sky* Phoenix!

Phoenix: *Flies out of the circle and launches a wave of fire at Natalia and Gaige*

Natalia: Oh crap! *Grabs Gaige and jumps over the fire and tosses Gaige so she lands safely on Gamma*

Gamma: OW!

Gaige: Careful Natalia!

Natalia: Relax. Just deal with the mutts! *Jumps up and starts firing at Phoenix with every gun she has*

Gaige: *Pulls out a fire elementally charged weapon and starts blasting the creatures*

Drake: *Stands there as the blades glow then grabs one that looks like the handle was designed to look like an engine then he throws the blade at Natalia then just as it’s about to hit her he vanishes in a flash of blue light and reappears right in front of Natalia, holding the blade and swings at her*

Natalia: HOLY- *Blocked it just in time and gets sent flying into a wall* Ow…. *Gets up and fires at Drake*

Drake: *Throws the blade again and warps right in front of her, grabs the blade, and holds it to her throat* Yield.

Natalia: ….Dammit fine. I surrender.

Drake: Wise choice.

Gaige: Natalia! AGH! *Shoots at some of the creatures as they try to bite her* Back vile demons! Back I say! Deathtrap!

Deathtrap” *Trying to fight off the creatures but due to there being too many gets swarmed and ripped to pieces*

Gaige: Well fuck. Ryan had better fix that. *Gets jumped on by one of the creatures* AH OKAY YOU WIN!

Krieg: *Calls the creatures and Phoenix back as they disappear*

Drake: *The blade in his hand vanishes* Well that was fun.

Krieg: Nicely done Drake. Woo that was fun~

EW: *Suddenly standing behind Strike* And you owe me a hundred bucks~

Strike: Oh fine. *Hands him the money*

EW: *Counts it and grins* Pleasure doing business with you Strike~ Everyone else you need to pay up!

Gamma: Wait everyone?

EW: Well everyone but you and Allen. Allen and you guys didn’t bet. Allen wanted to ref the match so he could be the neutral party.

Gamma: Oh. Wait everyone bet on Natalia and Gaige?

EW: Everyone but me~

Gamma: Ouch.

EW: So pay up everyone! A hundred bucks each~!

Everyone: *Gives him a hundred bucks*

EW: *Counts it all* Thank you~ *Walks off humming Christmas songs*

Gamma: He’s way too happy.

Strike: Elemental always enjoys this time of year. It’s the cold weather. Now excuse me, I need to torture someone to make me feel better. *Walks to the basement*

Gamma: I guess I’ll go back to my armory. *Walks off*

Drake: Well that was fun.

Krieg: Natalia, Gaige, how about we buy you guys coffee as thanks.

Natalia: Thanks? But you beat us.

Drake: Yeah but it was a fun fight. And you guys gave it a good try. I’ll be looking forward to another sparring match again.

Gaige: Oh. Well in that case I’d love some coffee.

Drake: Yeah sure. *Walks off to a coffee shop with Natalia, Krieg, and Gaige*

Patrick: Seems they’re getting along.

Raken: The team work was impressive. And I wonder how many different summons Krieg can pull off.

Patrick: Think we’ll find out as time goes on?

Raken: More than likely.

Patrick: Interesting. So how was the Christmas party for us characters? I was in my room drinking tea and reading so I missed it.

Raken: …..Never let Dragonia near the booze again.

Patrick: How bad?

Raken: I can’t even begin to describe how annoying she is when drunk.

Patrick: ….Be right back. *Runs off to barricade his room*

Raken: *Snickers*

EW: *Walks back in* Raken what’s so funny? I didn’t have any booze at either Christmas party.

Raken: I know. *Grins* But Patrick doesn’t.

EW: Oh. Clever.

Raken: Thank you. Now excuse me. I should get back to my lab. *Wanders off*

EW: Alright. See ya Raken. *Walks off to the computer room to play games*
